All on 4 Dental Implants

All On 4 can be used as a teeth replacement solution in the upper or lower jaw, or both, as needed. The images below demonstrate the potential improvements to aesthetics that a smile make over provides, however results do vary from patient to patient and we treat each case on an individualised basis, but remember, improved appearance is only one benefit of teeth replacement.A smile make over using All On 4 teeth replacement is aimed to:

  • Allow you to eat whatever you want
  • Improve speech that can often be an issue with dentures
  • Help maintain jaw bone
  • Provide adequate supports to the lips, improving overall facial appearance
  • Look, feel and function like natural teeth

In assessing your mouth for the best smile make over treatment for you, your dentist will advise you on the best options. The results of teeth replacement treatments and smile make overs will vary depending on your preferred option.

Upper All On 4 teeth replacement

All On 4The patient was suffering from gum disease and failing bridges with recurrent tooth decay. The lower right bridge was caved down, destabilizing the bite. The smile make over solution was developed focusing on the upper jaw. Whilst three teeth were sound (left), they were sacrificed in order to avoid bone graftingand achieve an optimal result with alveolectomy and aesthetic gum replacement.

All On 4Teeth Replacement treatment took place with the removal of all upper teeth (except one back tooth), alveolectomy (re-shaping of the jaw-bone) and an immediate All On 4 restoration. The lower right bridge was replaced to the correct height for an optimal occlusion (bite).

All On 4

The upper teeth replacement implant bridge was removed 15 months after implant surgery to reveal complete healing and healthy gums.

All On 4

This All On 4 upper fixed teeth replacement bridge involving all teeth (except one back tooth) was re-fitted on the four dental implants for another 15 months before the next review.

All On 4

To confirm the success of the smile make over, an X-ray was taken at 15 months showing angulated implants in the back, and straight implants in the front, placed using a conventional All On 4 dental implants technique.

What is All-on-4 ?

Full All On 4 smile make over

All On 4The patient had numerous missing teeth and dysfunction. The remaining teeth were decayed and showed signs of gum disease.

All On 4We removed all teeth and fitted immediate teeth replacement implant bridges in both the upper and lower jaws using conventional All On 4 technique. As seen in the picture, the gums were closed with dissolvable stitches seen above the top teeth.

All On 4A baseline x-ray was taken after surgery showing angulated implants in the back and straight implants in the front using standard All-on-4 method. Note: By placing the back implants at an angle, the All On 4 technique helps by passing of nerve bundle in the lower jaw and by passing of deficient bone and sinuses in the upper jaw.
